When it comes to famous cats, Maru is one of the web's undisputed video champions . Best known (especially in his homeland Japan) as "the cat that really likes boxes," Maru has gathered a loyal online following for his silly, carboard-hunting-and- playing antics.

Recently, Maru's owner decided to try some visual trickery on his precious kitty, filming Maru in "super slow motion" as he crawls, jumps, and dives into and over the very same box from a variety of angles. Maru's masterful precision in turning a simple box into his own obstacle course is a feat to witness, but in slo-mo, it's almost beautiful. Seriously. Check it out.
